Annual Member Meeting and Board Elections
April 23, 2024-April 24, 2024 | 7:00 pm-8:30 pm

The GHNA is closing out its 40th term with a special return to the past. Greenland Hills was established in 1923. Approximately 60 years later the Greenland Hills Neighborhood Association was born out of a group of concerned neighbors banning together to ensure the best quality of life for Greenland Hills.

The Best for Greenland Hills

Located between Lower Greenville Ave and Central Expressway–before the sound wall–the original Greenland Hills Addition was a dumping ground for beer bottles from college students, close to being literally in the shadow of an elevated Central Expressway, and almost lost entirely to the city of Dallas’ then current Thoroughfare Plan.

Bobbi Bilnoski was one of the many residents who worked to not only retain but improve the quality of life for Greenland Hills and surrounding neighborhoods. Her time as a volunteer, then Board President of the GHNA [her work still evident today: the existence of the Kroger located in the former Dr. Pepper bottling plant location] spring-boarded her into a career of community organizing and consulting for the non-profit sector, and ultimately founding Concinnity Network.

Join us for an evening of inspiration in community advocacy.

A short reception will follow upstairs for a Greenland Hills Reunion!!

The Centennial Exhibit will be on display once again AND we will have a new exhibit showcasing the Greenland Hills community activities of the late 1970s, including the beginnings of Crime Watch!

If you or a neighbor you know remembers the stories or were early volunteers, please plan to attend!

2025 Memberships available beginning Tuesday, October 1st.
