Description

The Greenland Hills Centennial Committee is thrilled to present the Greenland Hills Centennial Home Tour presented by Preservation Dallas.

Developed in 1923 on what was then the fringe of Dallas, 98 acres of the Bennett farm was transformed into this neighborhood that includes Tudor Revivals, Spanish Eclectics, and Craftsman Bungalows. Preservation Dallas is pleased to be a part in helping our neighborhood celebrate this 100-year milestone.

The tour homes will be open from 10am to 2pm.

Throughout the tour, a brief video presentation on Greenland Hills’ history and architecture will be shown on the hour and half-hour at Unity Church, located at 3425 Greenville Avenue. Timed tickets are available for the video presentation, as a free “add-on” to your tour ticket. Please note that you do not need to view the video before touring the homes; Unity Church is within walking distance of the tour homes, and the video presentation can easily be integrated into the middle or end of the tour.

Preservation Dallas will contact holders of Greenland Hills tour tickets within 1 week prior to October 14th with your home tour attendee information.

Proceeds from these sales support the Greenland Hills Centennial events and activities, including the Centennial Festival in the Park November 4, 2023 in Glencoe Park from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. This event is free to attend and enjoy by all ages.
